A road trip, Bucket list #245 and an Alice Cooper concert

Hello, my bucket list friends! I had a really wonderful weekend! I went on a mini road about a four hour drive away. The main reason for this road trip was to go see an Alice Cooper concert. I bought the tickets kind of last minute so the seats I got weren’t great but they were good enough and that’s good enough for me. My mom and I left on our weekend adventure on Friday when I got off of work. Before we got to our hotel, we stopped at five below. I’m a huge fan of discount stores but there is not a Five Below near me. I was excited that I had a chance to go here again. I got Barbie and My Little Pony toys here as well as some art supplies. I hope one of these stores opens close to me one of these days. After shopping at Five Below we went to Chili’s for dinner before going to the hotel. The next day was the day of the concert but we did have some time before then. I didn’t realize it before but as I was looking up things to do that day, I discovered that there was a Goodwill outlet in the same town where we were staying in. It was on my bucket list to go to the outlet so we decided to go check it out. It was not as big as I thought it would be and there was not as much stuff as I had imagined. However, I found some pretty great items. Some of my favorite items where, a Mary-Kate and Ashley brand hat, a cup with a Mickey Mouse pattern on it, two books that came with stickers, and a Disney button. It was an interesting experience. It was definitely very different from shopping at a regular Goodwill store. At the outlet you had to dig to find things. Epically the clothes and media such as books.  The prices here were the best part. Our total was under five dollars! It felt so good to cross another item off my bucket list. After my bucket list adventure we went to explore the mission San Louis Obispo de tolosa. We had a little bit of time before our tour started so we went to the gift shop. I got some nice souvenires there. It was a beautiful day to explore the mission. There was so much to see, like a well an oven, and bells. If you get a chance this mission is worth exploring. Plus there is also a museum inside. After exploring the mission we went to Whole Foods for lunch. After that we went back to the hotel to rest before the concert. The concert was at this amphitheater that was part of a winery. It was a very pretty venue. Before the show I waited in a very long line to get a t-shirt and hat but it was so worth it! I have a few Alice Cooper shirts but I hadn’t gotten a new one in a while. The show its self was amazing as always. I’ve been to a good amount of Alice Cooper shows and it’s always exciting! I loved singing along to some of my favorite songs like Escape, Poison, Bed of Nails, and School’s Out! I wish I would have been closer to the stage but I plan on getting a better seat the next time I go to one of his shows. However his show is always amazing no matter where I’m sitting! I plan on going to another show of his before the year is over. The next day it was time to head back home. We made a few stops before we officially got back home. Two of the places we stopped where Starbucks (as always) and the Madonna Inn. Outside of the Madonna Inn there was a really cool cow art piece that we took pictures with. It was a really awesome weekend.

Texas vacation part 4 and bucket list numbers #188 and #216

Hello , my bucket list friends I had a really wonderful time in Texas and the night I’m about to tell you about where I crossed two things off my bucket list was easily one of the best nights of my life ! So let’s get going !

Texas vacation part 4 and bucket list numbers #188 and #216

My vacation was already amazing but on Tuesday night I went to an Alice Cooper concert and I crossed two items off my list . I would consider both of these items to be on the harder side to cross off but I crossed them both off in one night . The items I crossed off are #188 go back stage at a concert and number #216 meet Alice cooper !  It was such an amazing night but I’m getting ahead of myself . I was very blessed to have the opportunity to meet Alice Cooper It is an expensive ticket to get and I’m still paying for it but it was so worth it ! The night started with a VIP tour of the stage . It was so amazing to get to be on the stage where Alice Cooper was going to be preforming that night ! I got to take pictures with some of the props on stage including the famous guillotine !  I loved being on stage and also getting to walk backstage and seeing some of the equipment that goes in to making the show a success.  As for the show it’s self I was in the 2nd row ! It was so amazing to see everything that close up ! I felt like I was part of the show ! I got some great pictures because I was so close .It was truly a breathtaking show. I got a guitar pick and an Alice Cooper $100.00  bill with his face on it . My mom had a separate ticket and was in a different section but she said she liked her seat and had a good view of the show . After the show it was time for a dream of mine to come true , I was going to meet Alice Cooper ! I went backstage and waited with the other people who where going to meet him . The room where we were going to meet him was very nice and there were lots of places to sit .While we were waiting some of the band walked by and I high -fived one of  the band members Alice Cooper’s daughter walked by as well  I really felt like a true VIP that night . All of the VIP’s got these awesome Alice Cooper tote bags with posters inside for him to sign . I also brought his book for him to sign I got that book in high school and I told him how I had to put it away in class because it was making me laugh so hard ! Meeting Alice Cooper was one of the happiest moments of my life ! I could not stop smiling ! He was easy to talk to and very nice . I wish I would have talked to him a little more than I did but I was too busy smiling and being in the moment . I asked him to sign my arm right underneath where my school’s out tattoo is, he did and he drew a little cross as well underneath his name . After meeting Alice Cooper I met up with my mom outside and we headed back to the hotel . It was a night for the record books ! Rock on – Christina Epperly

Past Adventures part 1

Hello , my bucket list friends ! I love using this blog to share stories from my life everything from my bucket list adventures , my vacations , and even my health problems .I’ve only had this blog since 2015 and my bucket list started in 2012. Even though I wrote blog posts about my past bucket list adventures I still have a lot more stories to tell . I thought it would be cool to share some of my past adventures with all of you.   Here are three fun stories from my past !

The quest for the golden horse at DisneyLand 2005

In 2005 Disneyland celebrated its 50th anniversary. There were decorations all through out the park , a special parade ,  Buzz Light-year astro Blasters opened and there was 50th anniversary merchandise . They also had golden ride vehicles on some attractions the carousel! I wanted to ride on the golden horse very badly but so did a lot of other people .  I remember getting very frustrated because it took me a while to finally get on the horse . I even had to play a game of rock, paper, scissors when me and another girl got to the horse at about the same time . I lost that game but I kept trying until I finally got to ride on the golden horse ! The look on my face says it all !

My first Alice cooper concert 2009

This is one of the best concerts I have ever gone to . My mom and I had gotten general admission tickets but I didn’t know that meant a big open floor and you stood wherever you wanted to! I was in about the 2nd row ! I could not believe I was so close to the stage ! I had my point and shoot camera ready to go and I was able to get some really great pictures and there is one thing that made the night so amazing . So there I am standing close to the stage watching my role model perform and during one of his most popular songs poison , he started pointing to different people in the crowd and then it happened . HE LOOKED ME RIGHT IN THE EYES I froze ! I was so happy the he looked at me that I didn’t get a picture of the moment but I got plenty of other great pictures from the night . It was truly a beautiful night .

My first tattoo 2010

I wanted a tattoo for a while but in August of 2010 at the age on 19  I took the plunge . I went to a walk in tattoo shop and I got the perfect first tattoo. I got one of my favorite Bible verses with two sunflowers underneath it . I was a little nervous about the pain but to me it didn’t hurt at all . The tattoo artist was very nice and everything went well and I still love my first tattoo !

News boys concert 2018

Hello , my bucket list friends ! I recently went to my first concert of 2018 , It was so much fun and I’m so excited to tell you all about it , so hold on tight and here we go !

News Boys Concert February 16th 2018

I was so excited when my friend Ashley asked me to go to a concert with her . Ashley and I had gone to a concert together before and we had a lot of fun and I couldn’t wait for another fun- filled night . It was exciting to go to a new venue that I had never been to before . We got great seats that were only about 10 rows back from the stage. Our VIP tickets allowed us to get in early so we were able to buy some really cool rubber bracelets before the lines got to long . The Concert it’s self was wonderful the News Boys put on a very energetic and exciting show . I had a lot of fun Worshiping God with some amazing music ! Ashley and I both really enjoyed the concert. It was a great source of stress relief  for me, after having to deal with my laptop crashing and having to buy a new one.  Not hving a laptop really slowed down my studying and I was very frustrated. The concert was just what I needed. Overall it was an amazing night with some beautiful music and I can’t wait untill I get to have a fun-filled night like that again .
