Going to the Jelly Belly factory and more birthday fun

Hello, my bucket list, friends! My birthday was on August 26th. On the day of my birthday I went to the Jelly belly factory and I can’t wait to tell you about it. I also have some other birthday fun to share with you, so let’s get to it.

August 21- On this day I went to a birthday dinner with my friend. Before dinner, we went to the candy store that I used to work by. I got some bubblegum cigarettes and stickers. At dinner, they brought me an ice cream sundae with sprinkles. It was a great early birthday celebration.

August 25th – The day before my birthday, I went to a party supply store after work to get a birthday button and to look for other birthday things I thought would be fun to have for my birthday. I got the birthday button, but I also got a birthday necklace and some other fun things, including a new TY Beanie Baby.

August 26th ( My Birthday !) – On this day, I went to the Jelly Belly Factory. The factory is about 90 minutes away from me. On the way, we stopped at Starbucks, where I got a free drink for my birthday! We met my sister at the Jelly Belly Factory, and we all went on the tour together. Your ticket for the tour is a hat. I had been here before but we did not have time to take the tour. I was excited to see the factory. The factory does not run on the weekends, but you still get to see the factory. I really enjoyed seeing the factory from the windows. During the tour, there was a game where you guarded a goal from flying jelly belly beans. We got the 5th highest score. After the tour we went to the store. The store was filled with so many fun things. I loved the stickers that I got there. One really fun thing that is sold at the store is big bags of Belly Flops. Belly Flops are jelly belly beans that have imperfections. I got some bags of those as well. There is also a Jelly Belly museum across the parking lot from the factory. I enjoyed the museum there were some great things in there to take pictures with. If you get a chance to visit the Jelly Belly factory, I highly recommend going. After the factory we went to lunch before heading back home. That night, I had a birthday dinner at Olive Garden. The food was good but it was a very busy night at the restaurant so I decided to get cake at the Cheesecake Factory. It was a great way to end the night.

My 32nd birthday weekend!

Hello,my bucket list friends! On Friday I turned 32! I did a lot to celebrate and I can’t wait to tell you about it. I started my celebration by staying up so I could have a drink at midnight. It is kind of a tradition of mine. After a quick drink I went to sleep. I started off the morning like I always do by going to Starbucks. I had on a 90s Barbie party hat that I got from Poshmark. I go to that Starbucks all the time so when the employees saw my party hat they wished me a happy birthday. At work the kids were so nice. They wished me happy birthday many times during the day. They even gave me artwork as birthday gifts. I also got a card, flowers and cake from my boss and coworkers. I brought cookies to share with everyone. After work my mom picked me up and we went to Savers. As always when I go thrift shopping, I hoped I would find a cart full of treasures. However, I didn’t find that much this time. I am happy with the things I did find though. I got two Barbie dolls, four Beanie Babies a Barbie bag, a shirt and a good amount of books. After thrift shopping and a quick stop at home we went to dinner. I decided to go to a place that has arcade games. I love playing the claw game here because I usually win a prize. This time was no different I won two squishy toys. It was a pretty good birthday. The next day it was time for my birthday weekend adventure to start. My mom and I left that morning and headed to Piont Reys. We did have some stops along the way including Starbucks and Goodwill. At this Goodwill I got three things. A Melissa and Doug craft kit, a bead kit from the 90s, and a little carousel horse. Our first adventure in the Point Reys area was to check out the shipwreck in Inverness. This shipwreck is how Point Reys got its name because that was the name of the ship. It was a very interesting thing to see. I got a lot of great pictures. I’m glad I went to see it. The next stop was the Point Reyes lighthouse. This place turned out to be very crowded. The light house was cute but it was going to close soon. It’s a long way down to the lighthouse and it is pretty difficult to climb back up to the top. I was going back up as fast as I could so I could get to the visitor center before it closed. I got to the visitor center just as the looked the door. I was very disappointed. However, even though I didn’t know it yet things were about to turn around. We decided to had to Drakes beach next. I knew that they had a visitor center but they also have a store there as well. There was a sign said that their store was already closed but it turned out that it was open. The visitor closed while I was in the store but I was happy to get some souvenires and explore the beach. I  also got a map of Point Reys. I had fun exploring the beautiful beach and as a bonus it was not  crowded at all. After spending sometime at a beautiful beach my mood had completely turned around. After the beach we went to explore the cypress tree tunnel. This is a beautiful place to take pictures. At the end of the tunnel you will find a building that is home to a radio station. I really liked exploring this area. Near the building we found a fallen tree and you could see the roots. After a day full of exploring we checked in our hotel that was located in San Rafael. The next morning we met my sister for breakfast. After a very good breakfast we walked around a little bit and visited a book store. It was a pretty great birthday weekend.

My 30th birthday

Hello, my bucket list friends! On Wednesday I turned 30 and I had a really great day celebrating! I can’t wait to tell you all about it so let’s jump on in !

The first thing I want to say is thank you everyone who wished me a happy birthday! I felt so loved on my birthday. I’m so blessed to have many wonderful people in my life. My plan for my birthday was to go to the Dollar Tree and buy 30 things for my 30th birthday then go to savers to get some books from their very impressive book section. Before going out to dinner that evening. Things at the Dollar Tree started off pretty well but I kept losing count of how many items I had. I ended up with more then 30 items but I had fun and that’s what matters! Then it was time for Savers. The first thing I noticed when I walked into Savers is that the book section had moved. Luckily it was just as big as it used to be. We spent a good amount of time looking through the books and my mom and I found some good books. I got a few other things at savers but mainly books. We made a stop for coffee before heading home. After spending a little time at home it was time to go out to dinner. We met Amy there.  I was so happy to see her!  Also dinner was amazing! I had a really wonderful birthday. I hope the first year of my 30s is wonderful too.

I guess I’m 30 now ?!?

Hello,my bucket list friends! As I sit here writing this post I’m less then an hour away from turning 30. When you read this post I will be 30. I just have to say that it feels weird. I know that turning 30 is not a bad thing but it feels really strange. I don’t know how time flew by so fast. As I enter this milestone year I find myself reflecting on my life. I’ve been thinking about all my accomplishments, my failures, and my growth as a person. As I analyze my life I can’t help but feel like I’ve done a pretty good job. Now, let me make this clear I have made many mistakes and I’m far from perfect. That being said I can’t help but think about how much I’ve learned in these 30 years. If I listed everything I have learned this post would be a novel. However I will say that one of the most important things that I have learned is how to love myself. God provides me with unconditional love but I had a hard time loving my imperfect self. I’m happy to say that now I love myself and I want to help others learn to love themselves as well. Another life lesson I have learned is this world is a messy place but it is also full of good, you just have to know where to look. As I start this next decade of my life I can’t help but be thankful for all the wonderful people in my life that have helped me to learn and grow. I don’t have enough time to list everyone but I just want to say thank you to everyone who has helped me this past 30 years.Well there you have it that is what is going through my head as I’m about to turn 30. Thank you all so much for reading this blog!

My 29th birthday !

Hello, my bucket list friends ! On August 26th I turned 29 ! It was a really great day and I can’t wait to tell you all about it so here we go !

My 29th birthday !

My birthday started of with a nice relaxing day at home. I slept in , put up a new blog post and just enjoyed the day. That evening the fun began. It started off with meeting family and friends and one of my favorite places Build a Bear Workshop. I already knew which bear I was going to choose. I saw this bear online that was brightly colored and she had ice pops on her feet. I found her at the workshop easily and my guests picked the animals they wanted then it was time build them. The employee that helped us was very nice and even made me a birthday sticker. I named my bear August Summers and I got her an outfit that had ice pops on it ! Her fur is so soft I’m so happy I choose her to be my birthday bear! My guest’s animals turned out really cute as well. After all our bear building fun it was time to chow down at the food court. I finally got to try out this vegan restaurant I’ve been wanting to go to. The food was pretty good. After that we went to the Cheese Cake Factory for Cheese Cake of course ! I got the very pretty and very yummy celebration cheese cake. It was truly a wonderful birthday! A big thank you to everyone that gave me birthday wishes and helped me celebrate.

Happy 28th birthday and a trip to the ER

Hello, My bucket list friends I had on 28th birthday on August 26th and it was a wild one ! I really didn’t see it turning out the way it did but that’s life for you ! Hang on tight and I’ll tell about my crazy birthday !

My 28th birthday and a trip to the ER

My birthday started with a trip to Peet’s coffee and petting some very cute dogs there before heading to work .  While I was at work my amazing friend brought me cake ! After work I went out to eat with my family we went to PF Chang’s. The food was so good and the desserts were wonderful ! After dinner we were driving back home and a pain that I had been having throughout the day began to get worse and worse . It was soon unbearable about an 8 on the pain scale . I didn’t want to go to the ER because it is expensive but due to the amount of pain I was in I didn’t have a choice . I’m not sure what time it was when I got to the ER maybe around 10 pm . Right away the tests began to find a source of the pain . After hours of doing tests and waiting the ultrasound showed that I has a cyst on my left ovary. It is about 5 1/2 CM. long . It was decided that I did not need anything further right then but that needed to talk to my doctor in a day or so . I was given some pain medication and after 3 AM I left the ER. The issue with the cyst is still on going . I’m going to be talking to a surgeon next week but I’ll write more about that another time . Overall it was a birthday I wont soon forget !

25 awesome years !

Hello all my bucket list friends! On August 26th I turned 25 years old! It makes me realize how fast time goes by and just how important my bucket list is to me. I believe that life is meant to be enjoyed and lived to the fullest. And for a while there I felt like I wasn’t doing that. So I created my list to motivate me to go for my dreams and experience things that I would not normally think of doing. My list has pushed me to do things out of my comfort zone and I can’t wait to cross off all the other things on my list! Speaking of enjoying life on August 29th I had a birthday party to celebrate my 25th birthday. I had a rock star themed party including a custom cake with guitar on it! It was a lot of fun to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends! I also made a CD full of my favorite rock music with a lot of Alice Cooper songs of course! I just enjoyed the day and I can’t wait to have more adventures in the next 25 years and beyond! – Rock on Christina Epperly
