Mental health beach day

Hello,my bucket list friends! On Monday I took a mental health day. I have OCD and sometimes I’m in need of a mental health day. Monday was of of thoes days. On this mental health day I decided it would be a good idea to go to the beach. I live about 20 minutes or so from the beach but I don’t go very often and the weekends are the worst time to go due to the crowds. Since I had nothing else planned that day my mom and I along with one of our favorite dogs in the whole world went to one my favorite beaches. Even though it was a Monday the parking lot was full when we got there but we didn’t have to wait long for a space to become available. It was a beautiful summer day and it was so nice to walk along the beach and put my feet in the water. I took a lot of pictures and Axle (the dog) had great time running on the beach and saying hi to other dogs. My friend lives even closer to the beach then I do so she met us at the beach. It was great to see her. It can be hard to find time to spend with friends so I was very happy we got to spend some time together. After our walk on the beach my friend and I went to the little store by the parking lot. I was hungry after all that walking. I got some snacks and a cute turtle souvenire that was made out of shells. It was a good beach day I hope I can go again before summer ends!

A walk on the beach

Hello,my bucket list friends ! I live pretty close to the beach but I don’t go a lot anymore but this week I got to go. I went on a beach walk with my mom and my friend. It felt good to be back at the beach it had been a long time since I had last gone. I felt so free as I ran in the water.¬† The water was actually surprisingly warm it’s usually very cold. I enjoyed seeing the sand castles that had been built. Also the beach we were at is a dog friendly beach. I loved seeing all the dogs running around and having a good time. Just like that dogs I saw, I had a really great time at the beach ! I hope to go over there more this summer !

Exploring Crab Cove in Alameda

Hello , my bucket list friends . Yesterday, I went on a fun little adventure to Crab Cove in Alameda . I had never been there before and it is surprising just how many places in the bay area I have never been to, since I have lived here my whole life ! My mom and I decided that it would be fun to visit as many bay area cities as possible before we move . We started with Crab Cove in Alameda¬† and I can’t wait to tell you all about it !

Exploring Crab Cove in Alameda

We started off our visit to Crab cove by going to the visitor’s center . There were some really interesting things to see in the visitor’s center including a few fish tanks that housed all kinds of fish, a big crab, a star fish and even a small shark ! The center also had information on the history of crab cove .It used to be a seaside amusement park . Now days it is a beautiful seaside park with picnic tables , grassy areas and plenty of beautiful views . After exploring the visitor’s center we took a walk along the beach . It was fun getting to watch people going kite boarding and windsurfing . It had been a while since I’ve gone to the beach so it was nice to take a walk by the water and watch the waves .We also saw lots of birds including geese . It was a fun little adventure and it would be cool to go back sometime to have a picnic , play in the water and maybe even try windsurfing !
