Fun August 2024 highlights

Hello, my bucket list, friends! I’m happy with my progress when it comes to catching up with my blog posts for the month of August. However, before I officially wrap up the month of August, I wanted to highlight some of my August moments that I haven’t written about yet, so let’s get to it!

Photoshoot fun – On August 21st, I went to eat with my friend at a place that I had never been to before. It was a really nice place that was wonderful for taking photos. I love the way the pictures turned out.

My one year anniversary at work – I never got around to posting about this on social media, so I will post about it here. I got a pin for working one year at my current job. I’m very blessed to have a steady job and to have great people at my job.

Lots of at work shopping – This is pretty much a highlight for every month, but my work is always full of fun items. I got lots of fun items this month, including stickers, activity books, surprise squishy toys, bubbles, a Crayola LOL doll, and more!

Trader Joes – I love going to Trader Joes and getting free stickers! On Aug 17th, I went to Trader Joes, and I got Marshmallows, free stickers, and a free coloring page!

Making smores – On Aug 18th, I made smores! I used the marshmallows that I got the day before to make this classic summer treat!

Taking a photo with a celebrity on the last day of August – The last day of August is hard for me, It means that my favorite time of year is pretty much over. I went to work on this day. I did get some fun things at work, including surprise toys and stickers. I also went to Starbucks before work. However, the biggest highlight of the day was when George Kittle came into my work. I asked him if we could take a selfie, and he said yes! I may have been at work when most people were in Labor Day weekend mode, but I got to take a picture with an NFL player who has amazing hair. It was a great way to end the summer.

Thanks for reading, and keep summer in hearts forever!

My 34th birthday!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, my bucket list friends ! A little less than a month ago I turned 34 years old. I had a great day celebrating and I can’t wait to tell you about it so let’s get to it!

August 26th – This was the day that I officially became 34 years old. I took the day off from work to celebrate. I had a nice day at home and then I went out to eat that evening. My parents and I went to a really great Chinese food restaurant. Both the food and the service was amazing. It was the perfect place to go to celebrate my birthday. After dinner I went to one of my favorite places and that place is Target! I bought a bunch of fun things! I love the Barbie pop reveal doll that I got. Some other things that I got are stickers, bath bombs that have prizes inside, a Barbie surprise toy, surprise squishy toys, and crayons. After my Target shopping spree I went to Safeway to get a birthday cake. I chose a beautiful ice cream cake. I put some My Little Pony candles that I had on my cake. It was a great birthday!

Idaho trip August 2024

Hello, my bucket list, friends! In August, I went to visit my family in Idaho. While I was there, I did a lot of thrift shopping, visited a reptile zoo, and more. I can’t wait to tell you about all the fun I had in Idaho, so let’s get to it.

August 6th – This was the day that I arrived in Idaho. I was very happy to see my grandparents and their dog. I also went to Walmart, where I got some stickers that you color, markers, and some bracelets from a vending machine.

August 7th – On this day, I went thrift shopping at two different stores! Of course, I got some great items, including stickers, Barbie books, a bag of rubber ducks, and some plush toys. We also went to Burger King it was a good day!

August 8th – On this day, we went to frozen yogurt. One of the topping choices was freeze-dried Skittles. I put so many on my yogurt because they are expensive to buy in stores. I enjoyed my yogurt and later that night we went to savers. When we got there, we did not have a lot of time before the store closed, but I got some books, including an American Girl book that had stickers in it. I also got some stickers.

August 9th – On this day, my mom and I went to the Idaho reptile zoo. I highly recommend going here if you get the chance to. There are so many interesting reptiles here! I loved looking at all the snakes, lizards, and turtles. I also really enjoyed getting to feed huge tortoises. There are also some birds and fish here as well. We also went back to savers, and I made a quick visit to the thrift store next door. I got some more books, stickers, and a TY beanie baby.

August 10th – On this day, I got Starbucks and spent the day visiting family. This included getting to see some very cute animals, including cows.

August 11th – On this day, we had a family birthday party. We started by going out to lunch, and then we picked up a birthday cake and some other things before going back to the house for cake and ice cream. I also got some stickers and hot wheels cars at the store. It was great to have a party with my family it reminded me of the parties that we used to have.

August 12th – On this day, my mom, sister, and I went on an adventure to one attraction in Boise that I had not been to yet the old Idaho penitentiary. The tour was interesting and I do recommend it but it is definitely not for everyone. However, it is not often that you get a chance to visit a prison, so it was a good opportunity to go somewhere that I normally would not. I still prefer the zoo, though. I also went to Walmart again, and I got a color reveal Barbie, bath bombs, and stickers. I was our last full day in Idaho, and it was a good one.

Thank you for reading about my August Idaho adventure.
