I’m very happy with all the travel I did this year. I loved exploring Salt Lake City and Park City in Utah. I also loved going to Tracy aviary in Utah. Los Angeles was a ton of fun! I loved going to the Big American Girl store at the Grove and the La Brea tar pits. I did so many things in Florida, that I haven’t even finished my posts about it yet. I look forward to more travel in 2022!

Work/ career- This year I left the world of retail and entered back into the world of preschool. I currently work in a toddler classroom. It is an exciting and challenging environment to work in. I’m always looking for new experiences and opportunities so I decided to try out voice acting! I’m doing voice acting lessons now and I can’t wait to see where it takes me. I hope to be doing commercials, audio books and more as soon as next year!

Shopping/ collecting – I added a lot of items to my collection this year! I did so much thrift shopping this year. I even thrift shopped in Idaho, Utah and Redding. I also went to two antique malls this year. Some of my favorite items that I added to my collection this year are a Barbie jewelry box art kit from the 90s, A Barbie comforter from the 90s, a Beanie Buddy penguin, a lot of American Girl and Barbie books, as well as many Beanie babies and Barbie dolls. I also got a lot of Barbie color reveal dolls! I really do love the color reveal line by Barbie. In addition to all of that. I also got many fun souvenires from the places I traveled to. I wonder what items I will add to my collection in the upcoming year.

Writing- My love for writing grew this year. I published Sixteen pieces on Vocal Media. I want to continue writing on Vocal this upcoming year. I’m excited to see what I write this year. I also continued to write on this blog. I’m so glad God gave me a talent and love for writing.

Creativity/ art – I let my creativity show this year for sure! I did my fair share of craft kits this year as well as drawing and some painting. I wonder what I will make in this upcoming year!

Thank you all so much for reading this blog! I hope you had a wonderful 2021 and that you all have an even better 2022!

Random thoughts from a type 4

Hello, my bucket list friends! There are times when I have a lot of things on my mind that I want to dump into one big blog post. This is one of those times. Before I go any further let me address the title of this post. There is a personality test called the enneagram. After seeing people post about it. I took it myself and it turns out that I’m pretty much the definition of a type 4. I’ve always felt like an outcast. I’d never realized that was a part of my personally type. However I have referred to myself as a professional day dreamer so that part didn’t surprise me. If you get the chance I recommend checking out the enneagram test. without any more delay here are my random thoughts.

I really want this cold to go away! – I have had this cold for about a week now and it’s been bringing me down in a big way. It has not only caused me to miss work but to also miss out on spending time with my family and friends. I still have it and it doesn’t seem to want to leave. I hope it goes away soon because I don’t have time for it plus it’s making me very frustrated. However I do feel like it is slowly getting better. I hope by next week I will be 100% better.

My solo Thanksgiving- Due to the cold I mentioned above, I stayed home on Thanksgiving. I made the most of it by eating some very yummy food that I got from the hot bar at Whole Foods. I also did arts and crafts. My favorite craft kit that I did was a wooden Christmas Tree ornament kit that I got at Whole Foods. I also did a TY Beanie Boos puzzle. I enjoyed watching the parade on TV. It was not the prefect Thanksgiving day but I made the most out of it.

Fun CVS finds – Yesterday I went to CVS to get some things to help me fight this cold but of course I bought some fun things while I was there. I got a Disney 2021 ornament and some hair scrunchies. The scrunchies I got are Claire’s brand. I love that CVS has Claire’s items.

I want to cross more items off my bucket list – It has been a while since I crossed anything off my list I think the last items I crossed off were when I was in LA. I hope to cross off a few more items before the year ends.

Outside Christmas decorations – We are almost done putting up our outside Christmas decorations! We got some new outdoor decorations this year and I’m really happy with the way everything is looking. I’m also looking forward to getting our Christmas tree put up soon.

There you have it my random thoughts for the day. Thanks for reading!

Utah adventure part three

Hello,my bucket list friends! It’s time for part three of my Utah adventure. On the next day of our trip,we went to the Tracy aviary. This was one of my favorite places we visited. There was so many amazing birds to look at. Some of my favorites included flamingos, owls, and vultures. One of my favorite things there was that you could buy food to feed the ducks and swans. One duck had babies and it was so fun to watch them. We also saw a bird show. I can now officially say that the Vulture is now my new favorite bird. One of my other aviary highlights was climbing up onto this big log to take a picture. I really like the way that the picture turned out. After the aviary we walked around the park where the aviary was. We found a free art museum in the park. We had some time before our Uber arrived so we went to check it out. There was a quilting exhibit that was fun to see. When we left the park we went to the Utah state capital building. It’s a very beautiful building that has a lot to see. After the capital we went to a souvenir shop across the street. Of course I was able to find some things there that I just had to have. After all that adventure, we went back to the City Creek Center for food. We ate at the same restaurant that we had before. It was another wonderful day of vacation. The next day we decided to explore Park City. The first thing we did in Park City was to go to the Park City museum. You enter the museum through the gift shop I bought some souvenirs before we went to see the exhibits. I really enjoyed this museum a lot. They had exhibits on mining, skiing, and more. I would definitely revisit this museum if I was ever back in Park City. After the museum, we walked around town and went to a bookstore and a art gallery. For our next adventure we went to a ski resort. During the summer the resort has rides that you can do such as the chair lift, a coaster, and a slide that you ride down on roller boards. We decided to do the zipline and the slide with the roller boards. The slide was a little bit scary but overall fun and the zipline was fast but I really enjoyed it. After adventure in Park City we went back to Salt Lake City to do some thrift shopping. We went to a Goodwill and at first it didn’t seem like I was going to find much but I ended up finding some things I was really happy about. I found a Barbie book, a Build-A-Bear puppy, a wishbone dog plush, and some Barbie DVDs. Thanks for reading this part of my adventure.

My February so far

Hello, my bucket list friends! I know we are not very far into February yet but I thought it would be fun to talk about some of my highlights so far.

Walking – I love going on walks and I’ve already gotten a few in this month.

Thrift shopping – I have gone thrift shopping twice this month once to Savers ( You can read about it HERE ) and once to Goodwill. My trip to Goodwill was a quick one. My two favorite things that I got at the Goodwill this time were a foam cross craft kit and a ICarly Bear from Build a Bear workshop.

Two sisters bath bombs – I used another bath bomb from Two Sisters and I absolutely loved it. I look forward to using more bath bombs from this company.

American Girl of the year book – I have started reading Kira’s first book and I’m enjoying it so far. I can’t wait to tell you more about it in my book club post.

Walgreens – I got this tube of cute squishy toys at Walgreens

There you have it my month so far. I hope all of you are enjoying your February!

First thrift trip of 2021

Hello, my bucket list friends last month I shared my last thrift shopping trip of 2020 with all of you. Now, It’s time to talk about my first thrift shopping trip of 2021. On January first I went to the same goodwill that I had gone to for my pervious thrift trip. They were having a new years sale so I was curious to see what deals I could find. I went later in the afternoon and I was happy to see that there was not a line outside. There was a good amount of empty shelf space just like the last time I was there. However I still found some great items. Some of my favorite finds from this trip are a picture frame craft kit, a lunch box that has the same pattern has my purse, and a TY beanie baby turtle. I also got a shirt that was originally from Old Navy. I can’t wait to rock it this year!

Thanks for reading.
